Daniel leaves in less than a week. I am super duper excited for him and so proud. He is my rockstar and I am so blessed. Selfishly I wish I could be leaving with him, but I know that God has a reason for all of this. In the meantime, I will be busy visiting all of my other favorite people and for that I'm thankful. (wisconsin get ready!!!)

Spiritually, it has been a bit of a journey. I have been up and down and sideways emotionally.... and through it all I need God more than ever. At the end of the day he is good though. period. He will take care of all of the details that I spend entirely too much time fretting about. So we will see where I end up or how this will all turn out... I'm just riding the waves with God right now.

Last weekend I went on a little camping adventure. Consider it a chance to pseudo rough it in the states before africa :) bring on the dirt and rain and lack of electricity!! I'm ready!! haha

the blue ridge mountains really are blue :)
