abiding

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus  - Philippians 4:6-7

to update everyone on my present location, i am still at suubi village!! several of the other girls have been transferred to different baby homes, but i am blessed with another month with my little loves. they are growing up before my eyes which is so fun!!! jeff is pretty much sitting on his own (even when he gets excited) and is cutting his first tooth. shamza has been fighting the worst diaper rash i have ever seen for the past two weeks, but it is slowly getting better (thank God!!!) they are crazy, unhinged, hilarious little people that continue to plant themselves deeper into my heart. what a blessing it is to be a part of their development!

it has been awesome to watch the way that God is molding my character here. I still have a long way to go in some areas, but in others i can see the [gradual] change. it's so beautiful and so divine. i am realizing how i really cannot do it on my own. that is the beauty of grace and mercy. truly.

as far as the rest of life... prayers are appreciated. there are some things that God is doing and directions I feel he is leading me in..... i will announce it later when i know for sure what is going to happen. what a fun adventure life is!!! :) haha
