why my babies are the best!!

 

So just in case my blogs have been a bit too heavy…. Here is something to lighten the mood J The baby home in suubi has been a bit short staffed lately, and with a huge influx of babies the volunteers have had to be a bit more flexible in our placement. Thus, instead of being with my little cuties, I was instructed to help out with the small toddlers for the day. I tried my best to swallow my disappointment and just roll with the punches. I went into that room with an open heart and mind, but walked away with at least a top 10 list as to why I prefer the little ones J haha

 

So, for your entertainment, here it is:

 

1. little people make littler messes--- with everything!!!

2. the babies do not move as quickly, or really at all…. The toddlers are speed demons and thus

3. the toddlers get into wayyyyyy more trouble

4. the babies do not know the meaning of ‘terrible 2’ and therefore do not throw tantrums like the toddlers do

5. little babies are lighter, not saying I’m not muscle woman now (because I am) from carrying babies around, but the little ones are easier to manage ;)

6. little ones have TWO nap times!!! Yay for a 9am nap!!!!

7. the babies smell better than the toddlers

8. the milestones are so much more pronounced for my babies- sitting up, rolling over, etc J

9. the babies seem to cry less than the toddlers (probably cuz my children are just amazing)

10. and last, but most certainly not least…….my babies are cuter…. Duh!!!
